yes! besides sympathy and pity for that stranger you can give him a voice through your words! and when that voice gets heard by the world perhaps something can be done then...then can writing prove its power... then they won't say, "at least someone thought of it' but that, "thank god, somebody didn't stop at thinking..."

hey .. have u worked in sastra .. i guess so .. most of my seniors appear to be on your co author list .. u taught me during my first sem i guess in 2003 .. and then u left .. u might vaguely remember me as the guy who used to write poems ... i am siddharth ... was in the lit team with shiv and all shiv was 2 years senior to me ..

I guess thats the way things are in the society in general .. habits, addictions have existed since time immemorial .. and so have the notions behind them that they are injurious .. i dnt think there will be a single soul who smokes and does not know it is injurious .. the society looks for reasons to find fault with others and blemish character ... and am used to that now ..

though the thing i dont really understand is .. what has smoking got to do with one's character anyway ..
excessive tea and coffee can kill u
so can alcohol .. so can sugar .. excessive anything kills you .. so does smoking .. then y do we pick this particular habit out and associate it with character ASSassination

very well said that"love starts and ends with cell phones"the reason behind it is these days cell phones r just at a hands distance rather in our palm always.Easy & fast accessibility shows our reaction instantly wheather its a love talk or foul mood unlike the old days when the letter used to reach in a weeks time and by that time the anger used to disappear or lessen.It wont be an exaggeration if i say they are on nerves of each other not realising other person's commitment or state of mind. Secondly,today's prodigy is less tolerant.they need speed in all spheres.they get bored easily and requires change very often.so its not the cell phone but the USER who is the main culprit.its on us to make anything into a boon or bane.
