Inner Voice
Close to me
Close to you
He is in me
and you.
Look deep inside
No need to find Him
anywhere else.
Meditate
listen to the Inner voice calling you
Wait
have patience
the answer will come to you.

My Mom
You gave me life
Made me breathe
Made me walk
Made me talk
You held me tight
In your arms
Loved me
Cared for me
Protected me
My mom
Taught me
And when I didn’t listen
You even scolded me
My mom
I remember all these moments
And miss you
My mom
Just wanna say
I love you
Forever
My mom

HORRENDOUS EXPERIENCE OF TRAVELLING BY TRAIN IN INDIA
I was too excited as I was heading to my home, Agra. But as soon as I stepped inside Tapti Ganga Express my mood drastically transformed from a blissful one to cheerless.
Firstly, as I saw the train boarding at Khandwa station I got petrified gazing at the throng of people at the doors of the train and inside it. I had to get inside swiftly as the train pauses there only for two minutes.
I took my seat which was already occupied by two people. I wanted to tell the individuals to get up from there but in the entire coach the site was the same. A coach has 72 seats but more than 100 people were swarmed.
The filthy stares of the men forcefully made me write about MY nauseating experience.
I was getting bothered and started anticipating for the ticket collector to look into the matter. When I saw him approaching, mixed thoughts came into my mind. I knew he would do NOTHING about it. At the same time I imagined him as a dutiful Government servant who would fine all the extra people in the coach. Nothing like that happened and he passed away from the coach like a BLIND man.
The carefree attitude of the Railways provoked and aggravated my frustration with the disgraceful stares of the men who made me feel insecure and unconfident about myself.
I am posting a video which says,
MERA THARKI INDIA..Do watch it and ponder over it.
The onus lies on all of us in changing the society. I am probably doing my bit by writing. As it is aptly said,
PEN IS MIGHTIER THAN THE SWORD.

Journey
You are with me
I'm with you;
Together on a journey
with all the directions new;
Days are few
so much to view;
We walk together,
Hand in hand
You are my beau.

I am Scared. Yes I am
Are we all scared? I am.
A girl's wedding is going on next to my place, aged below 18 years from a humble background.
She was so happy and hopeful of a positive future that while I went to meet her, she asked her parents to buy her a microwave for her new kitchen.
For a moment I was awakened by the fact that I should stop her from getting married or at least inform her about the problems she can have because of her early marriage. But, suddenly the news of a woman's arms being cut for the FIR she lodged about a 'Child Marriage' near her village struck me.
Questions, faces of men and women, society flashed in front of me. I realised that I can't do anything as I was alone. The India government, media is doing its bit. But I could not. Why?
The reality is I was scared. Scared of the society, scared of the people who think marrying their daughters off early is good for them.
Many girls are dying because of early pregnancies but some people are not worried and scared about these issues. It can be anyone's daughter or sister who is married at an early age. I don't blame the girl who is happy today on her marriage, she is getting all the attention, it is her D Day but her family, parents, relatives should have thought of the risk which she will carry with her.
"KYA FAYDA USE PADHAKAR, BYAH HI TO KARNA HAI" USE AUR PHIR BACHHE SAMBHALNE HAIN"
THIS THINKING STILL PERSISTS I AM A WITNESS OF IT.
Here still women are uneducated, still they cover they wear veils in front of men, still they think getting the beating from the husband is a part of marriage, not wrong, still women think men enjoying physical relationships with other women is "Okay" because he is a "MAN" and when I asked one of the women, if she is involved in such an activity, she says:
"My husband will shoo me off as this is immoral."
So, we have different standards based on gender and such things still exist. I am not being pessimistic, I know the change is coming but I can't see it in some places.

WOMAN
Some women are strong,
some weak;
Wish the weak become stronger
All come together,
Show the women's power.
Fight for the freedom,
Don't let anyone put you in the cage forever.
Open up your wings
And fly together
High and higher
Believe in yourself
and in your dreams
Realize the power, Oh Woman!
It lies within you and me,
change the world.
Why Oh why!
Oh Mother, Oh Wife,
You forget about your rights
When you fulfil all your duties
Why do you sacrifice
and repent it later?
God has made you
capable of bringing
life on this earth;
Don't just watch
or bear the torture,
speak up for yourself
and stand for the women
always and forever.
some weak;
Wish the weak become stronger

One of the confronted stark realities of life
COULD I DO ANYTHING MORE THAN FEELING BAD ????FOR THE OLD MAN WHO WAS TRYING TO CROSS THE ROAD SITTING ON A PLANK MOVING ON WHEELS BECAUSE HE HAD NO FEET. I WAS SITTING IN MY CAR AND THE TRAFFIC PASSING BY SEEMED CRUEL TO ME.
WHEN I LOOKED AT THIS MAN I COULDN'T TAKE MY EYES OFF, MYRIAD THOUGHTS COMING IN MY MIND...WILL HE ABLE TO CROSS THE ROAD OR WILL HE BE CRUSHED UNDER SOME GIANT VEHICLE...
SYMPATHY..SADNESS..THAT'S IT!
AUR KYA KAR SAKTI THI MAIN..
I WAS THINKING & still Iam ..ABOUT THE REASONS FOR HIS POOR CONDITION
HIS KARMA?
GOD'S INJUSTICE?
OR WHAT?.

Growth
We Born
We Grow
When growing
the innocence crumples like a dry leaf
We Learn.
the ways of the world.
We start feeling
most of the time the heart making us weak..
??
We Think
Making us manipulative
?
We Love
Giving us all the things in the world
sorrows and joys.
We Hate
making us negative
When Born
We most innocent
Then Why do we Grow?
To entangle our souls
to this not so real world?

LOVE
lonely is the day
lonely is the night
lonely is me
lonely are you
love is the most
check check
when two hearts long
for each other's love
longing is the sweetest
so is the moment
when two hearts twine
you pine and twine
this is the beauty of love!

IF smoking is injurious, it is for everyone.

IF SMOKING IS INJURIOUS, IT IS FOR EVERYONE
I had taken this picture zooming my camera from my window seat in a train near Agra Cantt. station while travelling back from Kota. What was going through my mind at that point of time was the nonchalance of that unknown woman. She was lighting her bidi, sitting outside her home. But then what made me click the picture was the thing which upsets me; targetting the youth, the hypocritical behaviour of people who have a problem if the young are smoking and say 'its okay' when they smoke. Now this woman in the picture is not young and urban or a woman living independently on her own. So don't just target the young and independent for smoking.
If smoking is an issue , don't say its bad when a young woman or a young man smokes. One cannot say that 'these young women are into smoking because they are living alone, they have money to spend and noone to stop.' This may be the reason, but then what is the reason for the woman smoking in the picture?
Smoking is injurious for everyone's health, whether it is a man or a woman, a teenage or an old person and its better not to target any one segment or one particular gender.
This is my opinion which may be liked or disliked.
