CHASING MISS PERFECT?

They say..
NOBODY IS PERFECT!
it is also said..
PRACTICE MAKES A MAN PERFECT!
Now I ask this question, what should one believe? the first quote or second?
Nobody has seen or achieved the Utopian land or "The Republic" which Plato imagined and wrote about. So when there is no PERFECT LAND , similarly there is nothing like perfect man or perfect woman.
As it is said, "one does not love a perfect person but loves an imperfect person perfectly." Everyone is chasing for Miss Perfect or Mr Perfect, consciously or unconsciously. The definitions change from person to person, gender to gender. In the 21st century India, things are undergoing a change. Now there are no gender specific roles for men or women. Women propose men, they drive and men take a backseat. In married lives, men are changing nappies, cooking food and women are working in a 24*7 changing shift.
Now is it that the Perfect Man and Perfect Woman lie only in books and movies?
The answer is that the one perfect for Mr. Y is not perfect for Mr. X. So you may be wanting a girl who respects your parents and cooks scrumptous food for you. The other will say..Miss Perfect for me is the one who will earn money and take care of the house too.
She should be intelligent, humorous and how can i forget ..beautiful! and yeah the male ego should not get hurt! She should be practical and should not take things seriously..not the too emotional and sensitive kinds!
The NEW WOMAN is hip, cool, educated, self - dependant, uncompromising when it comes to her career.
So guys be ready to get the feel of this new woman!

Very True.
There is no set definition for what exactly is perfect or imperfect.
Reminds of the famous line
"Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder."
Very thought provoking post,
Keep up the high spirits

i wish i could say i was impressed by the post...but sadly i feel u being a girl who has that spark within her, couldve put in a lot more...but since this is just a blog, u might not have put too much thought into it... for me, the perfection lies in being able to notice all the imperfections in my girl and being able to appreciate them... as for the place of the new age woman, i just feel, shes no more, shes no less... shes just found her place under the sun and a house cant become a home unless both the members learn to share the responsibilities and duties of the household...
at the end of the day, only an understanding and a compatible partner can bring true joy to u and ur married life...
long live the institution of relationships...

This new age woman is bent upon making me change nappies yet saying wont hurt MALE EGO. I dunno how ?

U gave us a new dimension to view perfectionism in a new age woman but i still believe, the perfect woman is a higher type of human than the perfect man, and also something much more rare.

I, being a supporter of feminism, lie at a paradox of accepting the concept of radically changed new age woman and my evergrowing MALE EGO. U make me think abt it.

But after getting all my parts of the brain in consensus i conclude, there is no perfect marriage for a perfect MAN, for there are no perfect WOMEN.

Very well said. No one is perfect. Perfection is not in somebody's works, looks or behaviour... But it is the way one observes somebody and judge on his/her own criterias and then entitle him with Mr. Perfect or Imperfect...
Each person is PERFECT for only one other person in this world...
Now thats the beautiful meaning that your blog creates...
YOU ROCK..!!!!!
